Said Things
Said Things is a dramatic short film of two African-Americanbrothers’ estrangement due to one brother’s pursuit of higher education, whichleads to their last argument. Before the argument occurs, Don (Devin Taylor)ponders how his older brother will take the news of his departure from St.Louis to pursue his educational goals. Don’s older brother Mac (MarvinHouston), criticizes Don for being blinded by what the white man has instilledin him about black men having equal opportunity. Without the support of hisolder brother, Don walks toward his new path while pondering his brother’smessage.
The Walk
The Walk is a short film about a young African American malenamed Charles played by Jason Hunt. Charles’s physical body is always inconstant motion while dealing with his daily errors to graduate from college. Afteryears of hard work, Charles has reached his limit of taking the sacrifices thatare needed to receive an education from an African American male. He begins toponder his humanity and his obstacles to conclude his purpose for his pursue andtrue indignity.
